Meet the Smart Comply Team

I bring over 20 years of experience in producer responsibility, having started my career in 2002 and progressed through every layer of the industry. From hands-on data gathering and compliance management to leading scheme operations and procurement across WEEE, batteries, and packaging, I have developed a comprehensive, ground-up understanding of what effective compliance truly requires.

As Managing Director of Smart Comply, I combine my experience with a practical, solutions-focused approach, helping producers navigate complex and evolving regulatory requirements.

A key career highlight was steering trading strategy during the turbulent 2022 PRN market, one of the most challenging periods on record, successfully managing risk and maintaining compliance for producers despite extreme market pressure.

Outside the office, I enjoy cooking, planning my next travel adventure, and exploring new areas of interest through deep research dives.

Having joined the team in 2014 as an administrator, I have progressed my career while developing strong sector expertise, leading to my current role as Members & Compliance Lead.

I’m the senior operational lead for member-facing activity, overseeing compliance support, audit readiness, and policy engagement. My role also incorporates commercial awareness and support with PRN procurement.

I love exercising and chasing the sun to new travel destinations. Also, a big fan of movies across varying genres.

Fun fact: I have both a dog and cat – yes, they can laterally fight like cat and dog!

Joined Smart Comply after working within the industry, creating data solutions to assist companies with their obligations under the Packaging Regulations and into EPR.

As Data Lead my role is to assist companies as well as assist the Data Team to produce accurate, logical data sets that fulfil the requirements of the legislation, reduce the stress on the member and team during data round and beyond.

I enjoy reading, movies and exercise. Compete in ultra-marathons around the UK as well as some shorter distances.

I joined the team in 2015 where I began to develop an understanding of the producer responsibility regulations and their effects on members.

I manage a number of our scheme accounts, monitor regulatory changes and communicate these with our members, ensuring members stay informed and compliant with existing and upcoming laws.

I am happiest when spending time with my family, friends and when taking long walks with my rescue dog, Goose. I love going to see live music and attending festivals in the summer. I am a regular theatre goer and avid reader. I love to swim in the sea when I can and growing my own vegetables at my allotment.

I’m a Junior Data Analyst and have been at the company since 2023. I work with packaging data, making sure it’s accurate, consistent, and ready for compliance and reporting.

I help build and maintain data models and tools for analysis, and work with the Data Lead to respond to data requests and support members with their submissions. My work helps inform PRN forecasting and compliance planning.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, football and spending time with friends.

As a Data analyst, I support clients in meeting their EPR requirements by analysing and calculating their obligation. I also design and develop internal tools that improve efficiency and workflows.

My role ensure that your data is accurately processed and interpretated to help you comply with the ever-changing EPR regulations.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing music, watching football and trying to be active.
